CIFAL Jeju - The Youth Culture Camp: The Story of Sustainable Seas
Culture defines and shapes who we are. Even though culture was neglected in the MDGs’ context, it is hard to discuss about SDGs without recognizing the role of culture. Jeju was selected as 2016 East Asia City of Culture, along with Ningbo, China and Nara, Japan. This project aims to develop mutual understanding and build solidarity between these countries in the East Asian region. The youth from these cities will engage in various cultural activities under the theme of Sustainable Seas to advocate the SDGs to the general public with their own art projects.
