Spain and Morocco have been historically linked due to their close geographical situation and the succession of empires who took control over the area. This situation gathered together different communities, religions and ethnics who shared important periods of history in which music compositions, architecture, traditions and languages blended together for many years.

This workshop will be used as an international platform to share ideas between academics from Italy, Switzerland, Tunis, France and Spain, university students, professionals from the private sector, and other members of the civil society.

The workshop is divided into 24 lectures related mainly to history, explaining the current social and political situation in the Mediterranean.

This workshop is comprised of lectures, Q&A sessions and interactive activities to foster knowledge exchange among participants.

Academics and university students, professionals from the private sector, and other members of the civil society interested in the topic. It is also offered to any community-based or non-governmental organization interested in the topic.
