CONSERVATIVE VERSUS INTERVENTIONAL TREATMENT FOR SPONTANEOUS PNEUMOTHORAX
This one hour webinar will involve a review of the literature examining the the topic of conservative versus interventional treatment for spontaneous pneumothorax. Using the Users Guide to the Medical Literature: Clinical Practice Guidelines as the methodological framework to review the literature, the panelists will examine and assess the recommendations along with the validity of these recommendations. This discussion will occur in the context of a pragmatic real-world scenario, including health systems experiencing resource scarcity. After the review, questions will be fielded from the audience.

At the end of this virtual roundtable, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the necessity of pleural drainage to expedite lung re-expansion in patients with spontaneous pneumothoraces.
2. Evaluate the limitations of a multicenter randomized noninferiority trial in patients with first episode spontaneous pneumothoraces.
