This One UN side-event organized by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in partnership with UNITAR/UN CC:Learn and other international organizations will take place in the margins of the 18th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), 26 November to 7 December 2012. The interactive discussions will focus on the critical role of education in addressing climate change and opportunities for developing and implementing relevant programmes and curricula.  Special attention will be given to the involvement of youth.
