COP23 Side Event on Dreaming Big in Climate Education
This event will demonstrate the tangible contribution that education and training are making to adaptation and mitigation. The event will also present innovative types of partnerships needed to engage a critical mass of children, youth, professionals, decision-makers and society as a whole in climate action; harnessing partnerships is key for global work on raising awareness and building capacity on climate change.
This event is supported by the UN Alliance on Climate Change Education, Training and Public Awareness, of which UN CC:Learn is a member.
UN CC:Learn is a partnership of more than 30 multilateral organizations supporting countries to design and implement systematic, recurrent and results-oriented climate change learning. Funding for UN CC:Learn is provided by the Swiss Government and UN partners. The Secretariat for UN CC:Learn is hosted by the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
