The COVID-19 Crisis and Cyber-security
In light of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the Global Cyber Alliance and UNITAR, with the support of the Organization of American States, will host a special dialogue on the current priorities pertaining to cybersecurity and cyberhygiene. Join international cybercrime experts for a debate on current tools to fight cybercrime, on practical experiences to reduce cyber threats, especially in the “new normal” of remote working, and on the long-term vision of the global effort to build a resilient cyber space.
The cyber threats facing us are continuing to evolve and increase. It is no longer a matter of “if” you will be impacted by a cyber event but “when.” The reality of cyber risk is undeniable, but that does not mean we can not make progress to reduce it. Confronting the challenge requires global cooperation, concrete solutions, and measurable action. It is critical that we work together to ensure cybersecurity solutions and resources are accessible to everyone, including the most vulnerable, such as small businesses, remote workers, and online students. More needs to be done for global cyberhygiene.
This webinar aims to provide practical answers to key questions:
