Corruption directly or indirectly affects individuals and societies, regardless of the context and stage of development in any country. It can be present throughout different shapes and nuances by intensifying disparities in the most vulnerable people. It can cause detrimental effects on different fields, including on the full enjoyment of Human Rights.

Mainstreaming knowledge about this problem pursues the transformation of discriminatory social institutions, laws, cultural norms, and community practices.

UNITAR and ROLACC are jointly hosting this virtual roundtable discussion on challenges and opportunities with the use of digital tools for combating corruption.

The event is open to all and is targeting relevant entrepreneurship stakeholders, with a particular focus on the following groups:

- Public sector officials;
- International organization;
- Representatives from the private sector, including MSMEs;
- The academia;
- Civil Society representatives.
