Open stakeholder consultation with representatives from various governmental and non-governmental institutions. Official launch of PAGE Kazakhstan. Based on discussions so far, define PAGE priorities, objectives, and initial activities at a strategic planning workshop.

A representative from the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented the Partnership and the way PAGE’s objective converge with the green economy goals of the Ministry specifically in the areas of: sustainable use of water resources, the development of high-producing agriculture, conservation of energy and improvement of the effectiveness, the development of the electric power industry, waste management system, reducing of air pollution, conservation and effective management of ecosystems. The importance of prioritizing activities, with active stakeholder engagement. A new plan for 2020-2030 is being developed.

The mission lead (Angus Mackay) gave a presentation on PAGE and all team members spoke briefly on the services offered by each agency.
