As part of UNITAR Hiroshima's community outreach programme, these Public Sessions are held on a monthly basis in order to benefit the local and international community.

Six months on from the UNFCCC 2009 Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, what has changed? What role for Japan? In this Public Session, an expert overview of the decisions made and the discussions held at, and crucially since, the Copenhagen summit will be given. Leading on from that the path delineated by Japans leaders in regards to Climate Change will also be outlined.

Public Sessions consist of interactive presentations followed by a Question and Answer session.

Public Sessions are open to anyone to attend. Please visit our website at www.unitar.org/hiroshima, or alternatively mail us at hiroshima [at] unitar.org (hiroshima[at]unitar[dot]org) to register.

Public Sessions are presented in English/Japanese with consecutive translation to Japanese where applicable.
