The purpose of this half day workshop is to draw attention to progression of the UN Development System toward the Post 2015 Agenda. Further, it will explain how the QCPR goals for the development system could have a profound influence in the implementation of the Post 2015 development agenda.

The course will be a half day workshop. Discussions will be lead by experts and practitioners who are representative of the UN, of permanent missions, and academia. It will take place on 10 December 2013, at United Nations Headquarters.

At the end of this course, participants will better understand: the key coordinating mechanisms; the policy goals and visions for the Post 2015 Development Agenda; UN operational activities for development; the emerging issues/global challenges likely to significantly impact the future role of the UN development system in international cooperation for development; and, the QCPR’s potential influence and role on the effectiveness and efficiency of UN’s Post 2015 Development Agenda.
