The Workshop will focus on understanding the importance of gender equality in negotiations and making endemic changes at organizational levels to augment women’s participation. The morning session will focus primarily on the relevance of women’s inclusion in a peace negotiation process, as well as the recognition of barriers to gender equality. Significant trends and case studies on gender equality will be discussed.

The afternoon session will focus on the ways of making effective changes at organizational levels. Discussions during this session will center around the impact of changes at both individual and inter-personal levels. We will introduce case studies involving different approaches.

The Workshop will be interactive and will have classroom exercises.
