This workshop is the first session of the Spring 2024 Columbia Law School training series.
The work of the General Assembly on oceans and the law of the sea is conceptually and procedurally complex, presenting a challenge for delegates with limited background in the field.
Given the high demand and limited space, each Mission is requested to send maximum one expert to the workshop.
Location: Permanent Mission of Korea to the UN.
Intelligence encompasses the capacity to acquire and apply knowledge, a trait shared by both humans and artificial systems like Artificial Intelligence (AI). Aquaculture involves the controlled cultivation of aquatic organisms, contributing significantly to global seafood production and food security.
This will be a HYBRID 5-day training series held at the UNHQ for United Nations diplomats, staff, and attendees of the upcoming United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is set to revolutionize our world. With the rapid pace of AI’s development and the uncertainty of how the technology will evolve, the establishment of effective and inclusive governance structures for AI is an urgent priority.
The event will take place on Thursday, November 20th (times 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM).
This workshop is the second session of the Fall 2023 Columbia Law School training series.
This workshop will take place in Hybrid format, in person from UNHQ for all those with a valid UN ID and online for those without a UN ID.
UNITAR will not issue UN ID's for the participants.
