This discussion will occur in the context of a pragmatic real-world scenario, including health systems experiencing resource scarcity. After the review, questions will be fielded from the audience.

At the end of this virtual roundtable, participants will be able to:

1. Understand the necessity of pleural drainage to expedite lung re-expansion in patients with spontaneous pneumothoraces.

2. Evaluate the limitations of a multicenter randomized noninferiority trial in patients with first episode spontaneous pneumothoraces.
