CIFAL Curitiba- Women in Science Infographic Contest
Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) approach to learning has become pivotal for women as their role in these technical areas are increasing over time. In addition, social and economic development depend not only on innovation, but also on gender equality. In order to promote gender equality in STEAM areas, CIFAL Curitiba proposes a contest of infographics to spur women's participation on Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics career pathways.
The main objective of the contest is to spur women's participation on STEAM career pathways. Additionally, it introduces female role models who have transformed the STEAM universe through innovation, inventions and discoveries.
Students should create infographics about one or more STEAM women, presenting information about their lives, career, path, and other interesting facts.
Students are invited to work in pairs to create infographics related to STEAM women. Infographics are to be evaluated by a committee of experts. The three best infographics selected by the committee of experts will be awarded.
High School students of the Sesi Schools in the state of Paraná.
Certificates will be issued.
