This map illustrates the surface coseismic displacement map calculated from SAR interferometry related with the 5.6 magnitude Mirpur earthquake that occurred on 24 September 2019 with an epicentre west of new Mirpur city in Azad Kashmir (Pakistan) between two Sentinel-1 images. Pre SAR image was acquired on 16/09/2019 and the post image was acquired on 28/09/2019. Maximum displacement up to 19 cm in the Line of Sight (LOS) is observed south-west of the epicentre. This is a preliminary analysis and has not yet been validated in the field. Please send ground feedback to UNITAR - UNOSAT.
