This UNOSAT LIVE Map integrate geo-spatial data from a range of source to monitor complex emergency in Iraq. Paricularly focused on information derived from satellite imager over the cities of Ramadi and Sinjar. Rapid assessment satellite image showed different damage level on building and industrial facilities as well as crater impacts.

UNOSAT LIVE maps are provided by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Operational Satellite Applications Program (UNOSAT) hosted at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland. UNOSAT provides satellite imagery analysis and related geographic information to UN humanitarian and development agencies and their implementing partners.
