2020 has been challenging for everyone. However, every challenge comes with new opportunities. At the UNITAR Division for Peace, we are confident that there are as many opportunities as one can notice, and that these can not only be seized, but also created, if needed. Faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, we have managed to transfer many of our activities to the online space and adapt the rest, to eventually achieve the level of implementation and the number of beneficiaries – even higher than it was before.

Working for peace means working for results. In this results report, in addition to objective indicators like numbers and geographical reach, you will hear from those with whom we work and whom we support – our beneficiaries. The impact of our activities on the lives and well-being of people reflected in the featured testimonials is our biggest reward and our biggest motivation to move forward.
