8 March 2019, Geneva, Switzerland - UNITAR is pleased to announce its first Geneva roundtable discussion on “Financing the 2030 Agenda: Means of Implementation” and explore the topic from the unique perspective of Capacity-Building. The event will take place on 17 April 2019 from 14:30 to 17:00 at the Palais des Nations in room VIII.

The roundtable aims to discuss how the international community is mobilizing financial resources and innovative strategies to achieve the SDGs and discuss how we can build capacities to strengthen means of implementation.

Representatives from international organizations and academic institutions including the World Bank, UNCTAD, The Graduate Institute, Geneva School of Diplomacy, International University in Geneva, and Edinburgh Napier University have been invited to share their perspective.

Participation is open to diplomats, development practitioners, trade and economic affairs representatives, staff of international organizations, and university students. Registration is mandatory at https://reg.unog.ch/event/28312
