Design and delivery of learning experiences
We create learning experiences that are rooted in the needs of our target audience and organisations aiming at improved performance on the long run.
Training of trainers
We empower trainers to be more effective and engaging in order to enhance and transform the knowledge, skills and attitudes of those they work with.
Learning does not stop at the end of a training event. We create long-term follow up systems that support the integration of learning and the application of knowledge, skills and attitudes on the job.
We measure what matters. We design practical results-based evaluation frameworks, aiming for continuous improvement.
Communities of practice
Learning is more sustainable in the community. We create community learning and sharing spaces for peer-exchange, coaching, mentoring and long term support.
“Impact for Peace” Workshop- Peace Pillar project
When Mr. Isaac Nkusi participated in the “impact for peace” Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop, he had just started Success Through Perspective, a personal money management company, after working for an internationally funded development project. He recalled, “I was not sure that the training would be useful for the challenge of managing my own company.”
Youth-Led Peace and Reconciliation in Colombia: A Transformational Approach- Peace Pillar project
Peace starts in the heart. It starts with an individual. An individual alone cannot make peace, however. This peace must grow, to a family, gathering steam to a community, blossoming to a region before a whole country can be at peace. Building peace requires the involvement of all who are affected by a lack of peace, all those who suffer the consequences of conflict. Youths are neither passive victims nor pure perpetrators of violence; rather they are complex actors. Planning for the future of a country post-conflict necessitates engaging with the youth of today. Support for the stabilisation and the strengthening of fragile states is a central goal of UNITAR, and as such so is the inclusion of youth and the most marginal in processes of peace.
