14 to 16 June 2011, Mahe, Seychelles. A National Forum on Governance and Priority Setting for SAICM Implementation was held in the Seychelles. The workshop was held under the framework of a national project for the implementation of the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) and consisted of a review of the progress made to date as well as an Action Plan Skills Building Workshop to prepare for the subsequent project activities.

1-3 June, 2011, Asaba, Delta State Nigeria. The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Nigeria Office in collaboration with Delta State of Nigeria Government has recently organized a three-day training program on Participatory Budgeting and Revenue Generation in Asaba, Delta State.

Following the request by the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region at its meeting held in Kingston, Jamaica, in March 2010 to meet in early 2011 to prepare for the first meeting of the Open-ended Working Group (OEWG), UNITAR in conjunction with

22 June 2011, Geneva, Switzerland. Last week for the first time UNITAR’s Multilateral Diplomacy Programme (MDP) implemented its new workshop on “Positivity Skills”. During the two day training the participants learned how to remain positive and spread positivity in their team as well as how to tackle challenges with a positive attitude.
